Mercado Pago now allows you to receive remittances in Mexico from the United States through Western Union “instantaneously”
Western Union and Mercado Pago have introduced a new alternative for users in Mexico to receive remittances in Mexico from the United States, through an alliance between both companies.

In addition to the traditional ways of sending, other alternatives to send money from the United States to Mexico are through cryptocurrencies, with options such as Bitso Shift, and Coinbase with the option of withdrawing at OXXOs and other locations, as well as Tether.
Another option is the one enabled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Telecomm, which through the “Paisanos Remittances” card enables sending money without charging commissions and even allowing online purchases.
