It’s Pumpkin Pie Season, Time to Make Tiny Pies!

The Thanksgiving holiday will soon be here. For centuries, pumpkin pies have been a staple of the holiday meal. If you’re tired of the same old pumpkin pie, this is the year to try something fresh. Whether you’re giving it as a present or serving it to your loved ones, this small pumpkin pie will make you the hero of the meal. Take pleasure in the acclaim.

The key to success is forethought. Make sure you have enough little graham cracker crusts by determining the number of individual pies you intend to create. I can tell you from experience that there is nothing worse than going to the supermarket only to discover that they are out of small graham cracker crusts.

This is a wonderful recipe for giving at any time of year. Wrap them up neatly and present them to your loved ones by following the steps outlined below. They’re treat-ready right out of the freezer. Here are some thawing directions as well.

Keep in mind that just because this recipe is easy to make doesn’t mean it’s not delicious. Each group of taste testers for this recipe requested an additional individual pie. Nobody cared about their calorie intake. The little graham cracker crust holds only 1/4 cup of batter, making it ideal for dieters. Don’t say I didn’t warn you that “another one to take home” might require more preparation than you anticipated.

Please note that I have only tried this recipe using micro graham cracker crusts (six to a package) and not with a standard-sized crust.

Can I freeze these individual pumpkin pies? Yes. These pies are perfect for making ahead and freezing.

Wrap them so that they may be frozen or stored. Wax paper and heavy-duty aluminium foil are all you need to protect the filling while baking.

How do you thaw them out? Please unwrap the frozen food from the aluminium foil and wax paper before defrosting. They can then be grouped together and heated in an oven. To eat one, simply unwrap it from the wax paper and aluminium foil and pop it out of the pan. Depending on how fiery you like your pie, press for 30 seconds or 1 minute.
