Lunime added Gacha Club, the newest game in their popular Gacha series, in 2020. The new casual game was a smashing success, just like its predecessors. The latest entry included a unique mode called Battle Mode in addition to the typical Anime production and interaction systems.
If you’re curious in Gacha Club’s Battle Mode and are either planning to go further into the game or are a new player who wants to learn more about it, you’ve come to the correct place.
What is Battle Mode & How To Play It
In Gacha Club, players may put their characters through their paces in a variety of fights and tower challenges thanks to the game’s Combat Mode. There are four different sub-modes available in combat that all contribute to the overall leveling of your forces. This is a summary of the many fight styles.
Training
Everything your troops need to advance in level may be found in training mode. Unlike other games’ training modes, Gacha Club’s really helps you advance in the game by rewarding you with items that improve your skills and attributes. In Training Mode, you may earn Enhancement Stars to boost your Health, Skill Moons to boost your Skills, and Awakening Records to boost your unit’s Level Cap.
Story
To get access to the Shadows of Corruption, the Story Mode is essential. The Shades of Corruption cannot be accessed until the second chapter has been completed. Despite how simple it may seem, even clearing the first chapter involves a lot of grinding due to the final boss’s ridiculously high hit point count. As a result, the second chapter’s boss will be more formidable.
Tower
Tower Mode functions similarly to Training Mode in that it gives the resources needed to level up your units. There are six elemental towers available in this mode. There are ten stories in each of the towers named Tower of Water, Tower of Wind, Tower of Fire, Tower of Light, Tower of Darkness, and Tower of Corruption.
Shadows of Corruption
In Battle Mode, Shadows of Corruption plays a key role. All troops will need significant experience and training to overcome the Shadow of Corruption. But if you can make it through this phase, the rewards will be well worth it.
You may activate fight mode by pressing the battle button at the game’s bottom. Choose “Battle” to try out the many combat settings the game offers. The Combat Mode also has a “Auto” option for automated combat.
Battle Mode Tips
Strategy and preparation are required to succeed in Gacha Club’s Battle Mode. You can’t gamble on your way into the mode. You’ll get stuck in a chapter if you don’t prepare ahead of time. We’ve selected some of the best strategies for winning the game to give you a hand.
Story Mode
The story and characters in Gacha Club’s Battle Mode are compelling, as is the case with most role-playing games. If we’re talking about stories and backstory, the main story mode is just as satisfying as the Shadow of Corruption. This is due to the fact that the regular narrative mode acts as a training ground for the difficulties found in Shadow of the corruption. If you want things to go more smoothly, finish the narrative mode before venturing into the Shadow of Corruption.
Training
As was previously noted, the game’s Training Mode gives you access to the tools you need to level up and upgrade your troops. In order to increase your troops’ Health and abilities, you must first go through the Enhancement Stars and the Skill Moons. You may easily get the resources you need for advancement by repeatedly pressing the retry button. When you’ve upgraded your troops to their maximum levels, it’s time to go through the Awakening Recordings.
Climb Towers
Towers in Gacha Club’s Battle Mode also provide practical benefits like those found in the game’s Training mode. The Towers are distinct from training in that players may expect more frequent and plentiful item drops. But, for a more straightforward experience, wait until your troops are level 20 or above before challenging the towers.
Farm Gems
Gems are a vital commodity in Gacha Club. In the Gacha section of the game, gems are used to summon more troops. To acquire powerful troops, you must first gather enough gems to purchase them. Hence, apart from the main narrative mode, minigames may be a great method to gather this material. When you’re ready to take a break from Battle Mode, just play any of the side games to increase your Geometry Dash Subzero.
