Players can’t go wrong with these great PvE units in Epic Seven.
Compared to other turn-based mobile anime RPGs, Epic Seven has both good-looking characters and a story that is interesting. In a world made from the remains of the god Orbis, the goddess Diche wants to protect the things she has made by making Heirs and Guardians who can fight off different dangers. The most powerful of them is an Archdemon sent by another god named Ilyrios. He wants to destroy the world to force Diche back into an eternal war between the gods. Since the players control the world, it’s up to them to make a strong enough team to beat any threat Ilyrios sends their way.
Even though each unit that can be used has its own set of skills and abilities, RPG players still need to make sure their teams can handle any situation. For example, players who want to get to the game faster by farming resources need the right PVE Units, which are also known as Cleavers. But which of the game’s characters is the best?
Peira (Ice, Thief)
If a player can get Peira, they can get one of the most powerful units in Epic Seven, since she has a high enough Utility and Speed. In terms of her tools, her Wolven Claw (S1) has a high chance of stunning opponents for a turn, especially if she has a barrier. The Punishing Blade (S2) is a full-on attack that not only shortens the duration of their buffs, but also gives Peira an extra turn and gives them the Cannot Buff debuff.
Peira’s buffs can be stacked, which may be her most useful trait. She is one of the few units in the game with a single skill (Pack Hunt, S3) that can give her a barrier, Stealth, Escort, and boost her team’s Attack. Her only flaws are that her Attack is lower than other Thieves’ and that her toolkit is only good when she has the right gear. But getting her early can give teams a huge advantage, similar to how some characters in Tower of Fantasy could help players early in the game.
Eda (Ice, Mage)
Eda is a unique all-arounder who has base stats that are higher than average compared to all other units in the turn-based game, especially in Attack and Utility. Icy Impact (S1) can lower a target’s DEF, and Cold Snap (S2) can lower a target’s Combat Readiness, take away two (2) buffs, and give Eda a skill nullifier. Lastly, her Absolute Zero (S3) has a high chance of stunning them for a turn while increasing the team’s CR.
Players who use Eda might be surprised to learn that she is one of the few Support/DPS units in the game that can give her team the speed advantage. This makes her like some 5-Star Genshin Impact characters who are all about helping the team. Her skills not only raise her team’s CR, but they also lower the CR of the enemy. This means that her allies will be able to do more damage over time. Even though she is good at removing buffs, she may still be vulnerable because she doesn’t have enough DEF and can’t ignore Effect Resistances.
Briar Witch Iseria (Dark, Ranger)
The fact that Briar Witch Iseria is one of the best Utility units in the turn-based game might surprise players. Her Witch’s Curse (Passive) is a nice way to give Iseria Immortality and raise her Hit Chance. This works well with Fallen Flower (S1), which can lower the target’s DEF, and Cursed Thorn (S3), which can lower DEF, cancel buffs, and even stop opponents from getting buffs.
With this toolkit, Blair Witch Iseria is like the Scarlet Witch among the 5-Star units in Marvel Contest of Champions. With the right build, Blair Witch Iseria can do a lot of damage to the enemy team quickly, even when she isn’t using her AOE attacks. Since her Skill 3 immediately reduces the enemy’s Attack, removes their buffs, and gives them a Cannot Buff penalty, the enemy won’t be able to easily build up to a counterattack in the next few turns.
Silver Blade Aramintha (Light, Mage)
Silver Blade Aramintha has some of the best Utility and Defense stats in the turn-based game. She also has a toolkit that makes it easy to abuse stun and burn effects. Her passive skill, Flame Release, makes Aramintha more ready for battle, and it works well with her other skills, like Flame Friction (S1), which has a burn effect when Flame Release is used as a sub-attack. Lastly, Meteor Fall (S3) can burn enemies in two (2) different ways.
Silver Blade Aramintha is good for players who want to fight in a more straightforward way because it has consistent AOE performance, especially with damage over time (DOT) Burn damage. When she uses the rest of her tools in the right order, she can be a very powerful Cleaver.
Arbiter Vildred (Dark, Thief)
Arbiter Vildred is armed with a deadly blade and has some of the highest Attack and Speed of any unit in the turn-based game. This makes him seem like other strong 5-Stars in games like Fate/Grand Order. His passive Dark Contract immediately turns damage that would kill him into 70% Health Regeneration, 100% Combat Readiness, full Focus, and a reset of Dark Blade. Sweep (S1) can lower an enemy’s CR, and Dark Blade (S3) can lower an enemy’s chance of getting hit. Also, the cooldown of this skill is reset right away when it is used to kill an enemy.
When used right, Arbiter Vildred has a good set, especially when his Revive and 100% Combat Readiness are used together. Vildred’s skills let him become a beast in both PVP and PVE if he is built right. Vildred is a great character to have for long farming sessions just because of how good he is at Cleaving.
Archdemon’s Shadow (Dark, Mage)
Archdemon’s Shadow would have some of the best Attack, Defense, and Utility in the turn-based game. Even though she looks like a waifu, Archdemon’s Shadow is one of the most powerful spellcasters in Slope Game. Twisted Power is a passive ability that reduces the damage you take from critical hits. It also has a chance to trigger Burst, which could lower your opponents’ chance to hit. Touch of Chaos (S1), on the other hand, has a high chance of stopping an enemy from attacking by sealing them. Last, Dissolution (S3) can lower an enemy’s Defense and even stack burn effects on them, while also giving Archdemon’s Shadow an extra turn.
It’s rare to find a unit whose skills are all debuffs, and when these are capitalized, Archdemon’s Shadow becomes a monster. This helps players when fighting more powerful opponents who don’t have Cleanse or high Effect Resistance. When combined with natural DPS units, Archdemon’s Shadow can help make a very strong team.
Closer Charles (Dark, Thief)
Even though Closer Charles looks old, he has a big broadsword that can easily cut through many threats in the popular RPG. This is shown in his very high Utility, Attack, Speed, and HP stats, which make him a good all-around fighter like other 5-Star characters in Bleach Brave Souls. Charles’ Closer (passive) increases his Combat Readiness and gives him Perception if an ally’s attack brings a monster’s health down to less than 30%. If Charles has Perception, Elimination (S1) can either attack the enemy or use a special move that does a lot of damage (Demolition). Lastly, Descent (S3) is an AOE that increases the ATK of all enemies before increasing his Combat Readiness and Evasion.
Closer Charles’ ability to improve his Combat Readiness is one of his best traits. This lets him become a secondary DPS to match the combos of his peers. Not only that, but his AOE attacks also increase the Attack of all of his allies, making stronger units even stronger in battle.
Landy (Earth, Ranger)
Landy has surprisingly high HP and Speed compared to other units in the turn-based RPG, despite carrying two shields for complete protection. The Chief on the Scene (Passive) is a part of her toolkit that increases her ATK when she attacks. This works well with Fire (S1), which makes Landy more ready for battle, and Full Burst (S3), which makes all allies faster and also makes them more ready for battle. Landy also has a special ability called “Fighting Spirit,” which can lower an opponent’s DEF and make them easy to hit with the right combos.
Fans who want a good Cleaver can count on Landy, whose set of skills is good for both clearing out groups of enemies and going after a single one. Even though she is a lower-ranked unit, her PVE potential works well, making her a must-have for players who are just starting to try out different builds.
Straze (Dark, Warrior)
Straze may be one of the units in the RPG with the highest Attack rating. He has pretty cool armor and a cape made of starlight. This fits well with his toolkit, which picks high-value targets to kill quickly. His first skill, “Powerful Strike,” is a good way to raise his CR, and his second skill, “Destructive Gaze,” can remove two (2) buffs from all of his opponents. Last, Star Extinction (S3) not only lowers the DEF of the opponent with the highest attack, but it also makes Straze invincible, which he really needs.
Straze is the best unit to use for fast clears in games like Bleach Brave Souls if you want one of the best AOE damage dealers. Even though his skills are already pretty strong, the fact that he can target enemies with the most health makes him a great place to start a combo to kill bosses.
Blood Blade Karin (Dark, Thief)
Blood Blade Karin has higher-than-average Speed, HP, and Attack compared to most other units in the gacha game. She uses this to her advantage with her risk-reward toolkit. The core of her Cursed Sword (Passive) is that it makes her Attack, Defense, and Speed better the lower her Health gets. She also gets Immortality for one turn so that stronger teams can’t kill her in one turn. This works well with Blade Art: Dragon (S3), which trades 20% of Karin’s Health for a boost to Attack and an extra turn if this attack kills an enemy. Sequential Cutter (S1), on the other hand, gives her a cool way to heal Karin with the damage she does.
Karin’s risk-reward tools make her one of the deadliest Cleavers, which doesn’t come as a surprise. Even though her S3 is one of the most powerful finishing moves in the game, it’s not what makes her the best PVE character to level up. It’s her low-health buffs and constant lifesteal.
